When you volunteer at South County Hospital you become a vital part of our team, delivering care and compassion! You can make a difference in the lives of our patients, their families, and staff by volunteering at South County Hospital.
More than 300 Volunteers at the Hospital make every day better for staff and patients—and you can, too. Volunteers come from all walks of life and we want to make the most of your unique skills. Some of the areas that may be available are: patient information desk, hospital escorts, Ambulatory Care Center, Emergency Department, Surgical Services, Medical Offices, coffee shop, patient floors, gift shop, chaplain’s assistant, piano players or our Reiki program.
Guided by the Hospital’s values of Caring, Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, and Excellence, it is the mission of every South County Hospital Volunteer to provide the highest level of support, assistance, and compassion to all patients, staff, and visitors. In whatever capacity or role a Volunteer serves, he or she will demonstrate professionalism and kindness, and reflect the Hospital’s dedication to quality patient care
